At Spokes, we are often asked for ideas about recreational cycle routes.
West Berkshire Council has worked with Newbury Road Club to produce a number of ride leaflets, which can be downloaded from their website, or you can pick up copies from the council office, tourist information centres and from the Spokes farmers market stall.
We have also put together a few ideas of our own, which take in the best of the West Berkshire countryside. With both on and off-road routes, there should be something for everyone. Rides are split into the following categories:
